Welcome to 3DS Cornell University —
The mission of 3 Day Startup is to build entrepreneurial capabilities and cultures on university campuses. We do this by helping teams at universities around the globe organize 3DS events that help turn students into entrepreneurs, and connect those students with a powerful network of mentors, investors and talent.
Over one weekend, participants will create:
- business models
- contact with potential customers
- lasting professional and personal relationships
Highlights from 3DS Cornell’13
3-Day Startup Cornell was held on November 15th – November 17th in Sage Hall. After a fun brainstorming session, 14 ideas were pitched to the whole group. Out of these 14 ideas, 6 ideas were chosen for the weekend. Teams worked very hard throughout the weekend on customer discovery, business plan generation and their final pitches. Mentors from technology, law, business companies supported the participants during this process.
Many people who are interested in entrepreneurship came to listen to the final presentations. There were six successful ideas and the judges gave feedback about each idea, its future and the presentation:
